FINAL DRAFT
an extension of draft 2, with applied custom textures and additional movers
note: the curved white office spaces in both Job's and Versaces spaces are inspired from the 'curved tails' of ts in 5,6 of two point perspectives

Versace's Office

The Versace office space is intensely decorated and has an artificial feel, like Versace ''wears power" the space wears a sense of powerfullness established through high ceilings and dominant patterning on walls.
inspired from words and spaces:gendered, monoply, interplay

Job's Office

In addition to previous relationships established with power, the smaller box within the 'mac box machine' provides a space for Jobs to watch over progress and speculate. The space itself is suspended to suggest high power.
inspred from words and spaces: dictatorship, ammunition, solitary, institution, monopoly

Client meeting space

The dining space itself is perced as an extension of the meeting space, the openess alludes to public power, people feuling power.
inspired from words and spaces: solitary , convergence

2nd DRAFT: FURTHER DEVELOPMENT

Meeting space
Level 1
The most significant and dramatic statement of the Level one of the meeting space are the hundreds of colourful cubes which takeover the area and serve to state the idea of 'mac world domination'. The cubes originating from Job's office space spread from his end of the meeting space to Versaces end suggesting evolving power, Furthemore the colourful nature of the cubes serves as a powerful statement of Job's power and dominance in popular culture. The grey cubes can be interpreted to represent PCs, and thus their marginalisation, reflects the mac takeover.

Level 2
Level 2 of the meeting space is the dining area, a small shelf at the top of a ramp extending of level 1. The openess and bareness, and lack of privacy that results suggests the public nature of their lives and power. Both of these personalities depend on their clients to fuel their rise and station in power, and therefore they are left to be speculated.

Versace's office interior
Level 1
level one of Versace's office interior consists of a model runway suspended on water aswell as a backstage area. The low ceiling and shallow water serves as metaphorical of the shallowness of relationships formed in this business. Extravagent lighting and columns further suggest Donatalla's ego and powerful personality.

Level 2
Level two has an alternate relationship with power, with elements alluding to Donatella's rise and success through the work of her brother, as it is this powerful pedestal on which she stands. this can be seen in versaces office in the image below which is seated on the classical 'icon' G for Gianni Versace.

Jobs' office interior
The pattern on the wall serves to indicate the complex network which he operates and also the complexity of his character. Furthemore the beam through the space alludes to the dominance of PC over mac, it is placed here as an obstacle, an obstruction to power. The floor is filled with cubes with essentially the same meaning as those in the meeting space. Also there is a sense of being overcrowded in Jobs' office, which emphasises this idea of expansion and evolution of power 'mac world domination'.

1st DRAFT UT ENVIRONMENT

Donatella Versace's Office - 'cloudroom'
Donatella's 'otherworldliness' was played upon as inspiration for her office space. Most of which is in naked and bare white textures, illuminated in a colourful array of lights. This i believe conveys an idea of power as something she wears. Like a facade, contrasting with her aging self.

Steve Job's Office - 'The MACbox machine' the monolithic cubic structure of the exterior of Jobs' office emphasises the power of his company. The cube form is synonmous with mac, and conveys a strong sense of power and dominance.
DINING TABLE CONCEPT in google sketchup and then UTed

The dining table surface is majorly dominated by 2 triangles that face in opposite directions, which was intended to communicate a sense of equality between the clients, thus balance of power. The texture is gold to emphasise the importance and ultimate power of the two clients. When seated Jobs and Versace however would not be facing each other, an idea that communicated the ego of each of these clients and their believed superiority over the other. A few subtle metaphors exist within the table. Versace's side is anchored on a separate element, indicating how her power is gained through her family. Jobs side has spaces cut out from the surface indicating a need for more power.
